Junior and Senior packages are the most comprehensive. This package is for students seeking ongoing assistance throughout their junior and senior years. Package Includes:

  • 4-6 in-person meetings per month

  • Assistance researching best fit and match colleges and developing your college list (up to 6 colleges)

  • College application completion support

  • Detailed feedback on your college essays and short answer questions for up to 6 schools (*additional essay charges for 10 or more schools)

  • Final review of your top choice school applications

  • Post-application support and guidance on deferrals, waitlists, and your final college selection

  • Assistance with financial aid, CSS Profile, and scholarship applications

  • Interview preparation

  • Deadline management and unlimited communication and support via text, phone, email, and zoom

College Essay And Short Answer Support $5,500 (payment plans available)

This package includes guidance on the college essay writing process for up to 6 colleges. From essay organization, first draft, and final draft editing, you will receive one-on-one essay advising to include:

  • 1 initial essay strategy meeting to identify essay topics and support developing a college essay plan (90 minutes)

  • Unlimited essay editing

  • Unlimited contact via phone, text, email, and zoom

*Additional fees for more than 6 colleges.

For students and families seeking support with individual services, they are available at $100 per hour.

Services are as follows:

  • Academic Profile & Extracurricular Activity Assessment (includes recommendations on extracurricular activities to boost college applications, community service, and summer program suggestions).

  • Academic Course Selection And Planning (includes a review of the student’s academic transcript to assess competitiveness of college applications for selected college interest).

  • College Interview Prep

  • Resume Building

  • College Visit Tips And Preparation (includes tips on how to stand out during and after college visits, a comprehensive list of questions to ask admissions reps, and practice asking questions)

  • Financial Aid Assistance (includes support filling out the FAFSA, CSS Profile, and guidance completing the verification process if selected)

This package includes one-on-one assistance with researching up to 6 colleges and generating the best fit and match college list. Obtaining this package includes:

  • 1 initial meeting to review academic goals, transcript review, and support in identifying best fit and match colleges (90 minutes)

  • Up to 6 college suggestions

  • Guidance on researching colleges that fit your financial, academic and personal preferences

  • Follow-up meeting to finalize college list (90 minutes)

  • Action plan for pursuing admissions to selected colleges

What is the purpose of having a private College Advisor?

According to the National Association for College Admissions the student-to-counselor ratio is 481:1. However, the American School Counselor Association recommends that schools strive to maintain a 250:1 ratio. Although 250:1 is a “better” student-to-counselor ratio, it still poses as a challenge for students needing personalize counseling during their college prep journey. Investing in a private College Advisor can have long-term benefits and will ensure the student has the support needed to successfully apply to and matriculate to the college of their dreams,

Can you guarantee admission to my dream school?

While I wish there was a secret formula to getting into the college of your dreams there isn’t one. However, with the right coaching, information, and persistence, it is possible to get into colleges you desire. This takes time, dedication, and a lot of hard work! REACH College Advising LLC will not promise admissions to any college. We will work diligently to ensure you are a strong candidate and create a smart college list that optimizes your chances for admissions.

What if I cannot afford to pay for your services?

There are payment plan options available for families. Ultimately, hiring a private College Advisor is an investment in your future. The risk of not having the personalized support during your junior and senior year can be dangerous, specifically if you attend a high school with a 481:1 student-counselor-ratio. Payment plans are available.

Will REACH College Advising do the work for me?

The short answer is no. We will work together to support you and your goals. Hiring REACH is not for any student and family who will expect the work to be done for you.
